Dear Friends and Neighbors,
City government should lay the ground work for a vibrant, equitable community. I’m proud to work on your behalf to make Battle Creek great, and I’d be honored to continue that work into the future.
We need a balanced budget that reflects the priorities of our people. We need reliable infrastructure and thriving neighborhoods that support healthy families, growing businesses, and a sustainable environment. We need police and fire service that respond when we need them and treat everyone with dignity and fairness. Above all, we need to be a community of equity, where everyone feels like they and their family are valued and encouraged to flourish.
City government can’t do this alone. We need better communication with residents and stakeholders to assure we’re headed in the right direction. We need better, more open partnerships with our educational institutions, service agencies and nonprofits to make sure we’re all following a common vision for the future. We need YOU to raise your voice, and we need to listen.
The people of Battle Creek deserve quality representatives who will fight for their rights and govern with integrity and transparency, and that is always my pledge to you. I ask again for your vote on November 3.
